This paper aims to provide a practical and efficient way to deal with the enduring problem of smartphone and laptop theft. The NodeMCU Wi-Fi module is used by the system to quickly alert users when their devices are moved or disconnected without authorization. Wi-Fi transmission of unique identity information guarantees timely alerting, allowing users to take appropriate action in case of possible theft. Building on this base, a number of improvements can strengthen device security and increase user confidence. First of all, adding GPS tracking would greatly increase the efficacy of the system. In addition to making it easier to quickly retrieve stolen electronics, real-time location tracking discourages would-be burglars. Additionally, tamper detection sensors provide an extra line of protection. These sensors are capable of identifying any unauthorized efforts to alter or access the device, and they can promptly notify the user of these attempts.
