The generation of stretched 20 pJ pulses with 200 kW peak power is demonstrated in an in-line Yb fiber chirped pulse amplification system at a repetition rate of 50 kHz. The pulses are compressible down to 400 fs using nonlinear cubical dispersion compensation.
