In this paper, we propose a new adaptive control system, which can produce arbitrary shaped pulses directly through a optical fiber by feedbacking propagated pulse characteristics into the pulse shaping stage. For a reference signal, we use a polarization-gating frequency resolved optical gating (PG FROG) pattern without any iteration calculations for reconstructing the pulse shape.
