This study examines a hub network design problem by applying commodity split, multimodal transportation system, and capacity modulation concepts to be significantly reduced the hub network costs. It also considers the possibility of transportation infrastructure establishment to be made the problem one step closer to reality. The results show that the application of multimodal transportation, capacity modulation, and commodity split concepts reduces the hub network costs.
