A blind digital image watermarking scheme based on Singular Values Decomposition and FastICA algorithm is proposed in this paper. According to the favorable stability property of singular value, the watermark is inserted into the singular values of the image’s Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) coefficients, which are regarded as two sources are mixed through the ICA instantaneous mixing model. Meanwhile, the FastICA algorithm is introduced in extraction procedure, through which the watermark can be derived efficiently even the original image and the mixing procedure being unknown. Experiment results reveal that our algorithm has great resistance over general signal processing, especially has the unique superiority over geometrical attack.
