In recent years, integrating renewable energy sources like solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbines (WT) with hydrogen storage systems has attracted significant attention. This paper proposes a novel hybrid renewable energy system (HRES) called PV-WT-Hydrogen storage HRES, which combines the intermittent nature of PV and WT with the reliable and efficient storage capabilities of hydrogen. The PV-WT-Hydrogen storage HRES consists of PV panels and WT generators for electricity generation, an electrolyzer for hydrogen production, a hydrogen storage tank, and a fuel cell for electricity generation during periods of low renewable energy availability. A control system is put in place to manage operations and optimize the energy flow among the various components. The proposed HRES model is simulated using the Improved Search Space Reduction (ISSR) optimization algorithm to minimize the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCE). To increase the use of renewable sources and limit grid power usage, the GAR and SPPR constraints are introduced. $N_{P V}=177,N_{W T}=177$, and $E H S_{H S t a n k}=255 {kW}$ with $L C E=0.4215$. The results demonstrate that the PV-WT-Hydrogen storage HRES offers improved reliability, increased renewable energy penetration, and reduced dependence on fossil fuel-based power generation.
