This Paper Presents an afficent method combining Residue Calculus technique and Generalized Scattering matrix technique. It can overcome difficulty, that metal septum thickness must be considered. On this basic, a bandpass finline filter for millimeter-wave Ka-band is fabricated. The calculated and measured results agree well.
