Using a specific light-emitting diode (Hamamatsu, AlGaAs LED, L3882), a real-time intensity and phase-fringe autocorrelation for picosecond optical pulses based on a two photon absorption of a diode was successfully demonstrated with a high sensitivity for the input pulse intensity and wavelengths.
