Upper limb exoskeletons have been developed over these past few years; technical design, rehabilitation, and Virtual Reality (VR) are some fields applied to this recent technology. A significant proportion of literature related to exoskeletons is linked to some extent to one of the mentioned subjects. In this way, this article aims to synthesize studies and reports about this technology. The information searched will have a limited range of years between 2018 and 2022. Other delimiters were the field of investigation (exoskeleton development) and the technology integrated (VR), as well as the type of illness (strokes). This study’s primary focus was the number of sensors, DoF, VR type, rehabilitation exercises, and TRL scale, resulting in a frequency table that identifies tendencies regarding exoskeletons.
