We describe an efficient hidden-line removal method which is based on the general Z-buffer hidden-surface removal algorithm. This method can be used for effective visualization of three-dimensional wire-frame modelled objects, especially on computers where the Z-buffer algorithm is provided at either hardware or software level. This algorithm has been applied successfully to our human face modelling system.<>
