The high autonomy and reliability of vertical landing reusable launch vehicle has urgent demands for both fast trajectory planning and online guidance. In this paper, a fast reference trajectory planning approach is firstly designed via the sequence convex optimization. Then, the model predictive control tracking guidance approach is designed, which combines the fast calculation advantage of convex optimization and the high precision of model predictive control. Finally, numerical simulations of reference trajectory design and online tracking guidance for a vertical landing reusable launch vehicle are given. The simulation results show that the designed approaches are effective in the convergent speed of reference trajectory design and tracking accuracy of online guidance.
