Summary form only given. Anomalous dispersion phase-matching (ADPM) in polymer films has been applied to wave-guided frequency conversion interactions as well as through-film femtosecond pulse laser diagnostics. Tricyanovinyl substituted chromophores have recently been demonstrated in femtosecond pulse applications. Because UV photostability is more critical in wave-guided applications, we report here on the UV photostability as well as on the performance of these new materials in wave-guided parametric devices.
