In this work, a wide dual-band circularly polarized antenna for GPS high-precision survey is proposed and investigated. This antenna is realized by two stacked microstrip patches. Each patch is fed by four ports with orthogonal distribution on the plane, and the four ports are stimulated by separate signals which have same amplitude but 90 degree phase-shift in a clockwise direction. The present antenna shows excellent features, including compact size, wide dual-band, and satisfied radiation gain, achieving circular polarization easily, which make it a promising candidate prospect in the field of high precision survey.
