Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy was applied to measure absorption and dispersion by single-wall carbon nanotubes in the frequency range of 0.2-5 THz. In addition, we determine the carrier and phonon relaxation rates in the nanotubes ensemble excited by a near infrared subpicosecond pulse.
