We demonstrate a high-repetition operation (>500 Hz) in a transversely diode-pumped Nd:YVO/sub 4/ holographic laser. The maximum output energy of 510 /spl mu/J was obtained, and the corresponding energy extraction efficiency of 7% was achieved.
