Scattering coefficient and anisotropy factor of whole blood with glucose have been calculated using Mie theory modified to account for RBC size distribution and packing, and experimental data on OCT measured refractive index of blood. The increase of scattering coefficient and decrease of anisotropy factor were found at elevation of glucose concentration within physiological range.
