In recent years, passive localization has attracted widespread attentions from academia for it is able to locate user without the user carrying any device, e.g., mobile phone. Considering the complex indoor environments, how to improve the resolution and the accuracy of passive localization become the focuses of researches. In this paper, an accurate weighted Time Reversal (TR) passive localization system named WTRPL is proposed. In WTRPL, we first introduce the TR method into passive localization to achieve high resolution localization. Furthermore, by fully utilizing information of multiple antennas, a confidence level based weighted scheme is employed to increase localization accuracy. We test the proposal in two typical indoor environments and experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the proposal.
