This paper studies the TCAS alert principle and the operation characteristics of high elevation airport, and explores the appropriate route of dual runway approach procedure of Kunming airport from the perspective of flight procedure, so as to alleviate the TCAS alert phenomenon of dual runway independent parallel approach of Kunming airport. Through theoretical calculation and software simulation, the TCAS alert can be effectively alleviated when the cut in angle of the last segment of the TF that cuts into the localizer is set to less than or equal to 10 degrees.
