We have used as a fundamental source a diode-pumped high-repetition rate Nd:YAG laser (Spectra-Physics T40-X30-106Q) which has a pulse width of 25 ns at 4 kHz and a beam waist of 500 /spl mu/m nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal for second harmonic generation (SHG) was a noncritically phase-matched type-1 LiB/sub 3/O/sub 5/ (LBO) crystal with AR coating at 148/spl deg/C and its length was 12 mm. We prepared two uncoated CsLiB/sub 6/O/sub 10/ (CLBO) crystals with lengths of 10 and 15 mm and an AR coated /spl beta/-BaB/sub 2/O/sub 4/ (BBO) crystal with length of 8 mm. Both CLBO and BBO are type-1 phase matching. We focused a laser beam in order to achieve high conversion efficiency and compared three samples. The conversion efficiency of FHG is shown as a function of average power of 0.532 /spl mu/m light.
