The term accident is precisely described as an occurrence of such events which are generally results in coincidental injury, loss of life or property damage. Therefore in order to reduce the severity of these injuries, the motor vehicle crashes has become a problem for the highway agencies and vehicle manufacturing companies since ages. With introduction of every new motor vehicle the risk is getting higher. The improvement is in turn determined by the decrease in crash severity over the time span, deep understanding into the success of crash reduction methods, rules and regulations needs a more accurate empirical judgement, factors depending on roadway and human resulting injury severities. Over all these previous years, different studies has been evaluated the effect of such variables of crash severity data by using wide range of methodological tools and present methodological approaches made it possible to develop the sophisticated models that has the ability to estimate the influence of all these significant factors accurately across the world. Motor vehicle injuries and it's severity level are the major problem, this arises the need to tackle these issues with immediate prominent actions, with best possible methodological techniques as of now. This study aims to mainly focus on the evaluation of the past studies over the period of time and current situation to summarize the analytical study of vehicle crash severities and presents some methodological direction for future which will help to investigate the causes of collision.
