Elastic deformation of the track effects on EMS maglev vehicles safety and comfort, brought challenges to the design of the suspension control system. In order to solve this problem, a nonlinear dynamic model of single magnet EMS maglev vehicles is built, discussed the model reference adaptive control method in the application of maglev vehicles suspension control; designed the controller based on Lyapunov stability theory. A numerical simulation is performed with MATLAB, and the effectiveness of the control method was verified.
