A combined near/far field method is used to calculate the wake washes of high-speed monohull ships. The effects of some factors (ship length-to-beam ratio, ship beam-to-draft ratio) on the wake washes, and the decay rules of the wake washes are investigated. It is significant to the ship design and hull form optimization, and helpful to improving the serious environmental problem caused by wake washes.
