Fishing industry has changed dramatically in the past decades. There has been many unforeseen challenges and difficulties due to these changes within the industry, resulting in shortage of fishing vessels within the territorial water of Taiwan and eventually leading to additional space that could not be used efficiently. Our research uses an existing traditional fishing port that is equipped with yacht wharf for the evaluation process. With AHP model, we will be able to predict the best location to set up a yacht wharf in fishing ports of Tainan, which can also act as a reference to similar future governmental constructions.
