Advances in wireless technologies will allow future vehicles to rely on wireless networks and infrastructure using vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. Therefore, vehicular route selection will not only depend on the distance, traffic level, or toll cost, but it will also depend on the quality of service (QoS) of the network. To address this issue, this article introduces a solution to efficiently calculate the best route for the user based on their personal preferences while calculating a score that represents the network’s QoS prediction of a specific route.
