Log-polar transformation (LPT) is a primary model of the space-variant vision theory. In the paper, in order to acquire images of mapping transformation matrix, the distance transformation and angle transformation of LPT are researched respectively. The implementation of the discrete algorithm of LPT is explored in details, pointing out that there is a one-to-one mapping ring in the transformation of distance axis and angle axis. Meanwhile, a new transformation algorithm based on the united one-to-one mapping ring is put forward. In addition, the algorithm of the reverse transformation of LPT is also presented and researched. At the same time some practical applications are given.
