Based on the FCWS operating principle, GB / T 33577–2017 and other regulations at home and abroad, this paper puts forward the FCWS test scheme applicable to the particular road conditions in China and studies the warning modes that affect the warning effect of FCWS. Finally the paper completes the real vehicle test of the FCWS performance of commercial vehicle. The final result shows that the FCWS complies with the performance requirements in GB / T 33577-2017. Warning TTC of FCWS is about 3s and FCWS can effectively reduce driving behaviours such as sharp turns and sharp brakes. On the other hand, audio has a better warning effect than visual. This paper not only improves the FCWS test method and evaluation system but also provides a reference for FCWS standard formulation and system development in China.
