At present time, Lithium-ion batteries and Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFC) are two of the most widely used batteries in electric vehicles. The State of Health (SOH) is an important parameter to grasp battery performance. In this article, the author describes and compares the application of Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) techniques in the estimation of SOH of two batteries.
