Imagery data acquired directly by passive millimeter-wave (PMMW) radiometer are inherently poor resolution due to the limited operating frequency and antenna aperture, so it need to adopt some super-resolution (SR) algorithms to improve the resolution to strengthen the target identification or other useful applications. In this paper, the process of PMMW imaging modeling is analyzed, and the projection onto the convex sets (POCS) algorithm for PMMW image super-resolution restoration is introduced, and some experimental results for PMMW image super-resolution restoration are provided, which demonstrate that the POCS approach for PMMW image restoration can get the better results comparing with the bilinear-interpolation algorithm.
