Large antenna array is a promising technology to achieve extremely high data rate for the next-generation communication. However, current design and performance analysis methods are usually based on the far-field and planar-wave assumption, which may cause mismatch in realistic propagation environment as the near-field region of large antenna array could be much wider than ordinary array. To solve this problem, a method based on network analysis is proposed and the scattering parameter is used to analysis the capacity of large antenna array in its near-field region. Comparison between our method and classical method is proposed to demonstrate the effectiveness of our methods.
