Disclosed herein is a vehicle outer surface component (2-6) configured to be attached in exterior arrangement to a vehicle (1) to withstand climate exposure, such as rain, snow, wind and/or sunlight, wherein the vehicle outer surface component (2-6) comprises a composite lightweight construction (7), the composite lightweight construction (7) being a biodegradable fibre-reinforced polymer composite material.
