A multicopter (10) is disclosed, which has fuselage (12) and a lift structure (14). The fuselage (12) is suitably a stand-within structure for a single occupant (50), or a harness (120) which connects the occupant (50) to the lift structure (14). The lift structure (14) is formed from a plurality of spars (16) that extend outwardly from the fuselage. Each spar (16) carries, at their distal ends (22), a rotor (24) which provides thrust and/or lift for the multicopter (10). The lift structure (14) comprises four or more spars (16) arranged so as to define a central aperture (18) within which the fuselage and/or occupant (50). The lift structure (14) may be moveable relative to the fuselage (12) so that the centre of lift can be moved relative to the centre of gravity, which can facilitate a transition between ground effect and normal flight, as well as reducing the structural requirements of the fuselage (12).

    L'invention concerne un multicoptère (10), qui a un fuselage (12) et une structure de levage (14). Le fuselage (12) est, de manière appropriée, une structure autonome pour un seul occupant (50), ou un harnais (120) qui relie l'occupant (50) à la structure de levage (14). La structure de levage (14) est formée à partir d'une pluralité de longerons (16) qui s'étendent vers l'extérieur à partir du fuselage. Chaque longeron (16) porte, au niveau de ses extrémités distales (22), un rotor (24) qui fournit une poussée et/ou un levage au multicoptère (10). La structure de levage (14) comprend au moins quatre longerons (16) disposés de façon à définir une ouverture centrale (18) dans laquelle se trouve le fuselage et/ou l'occupant (50). La structure de levage (14) peut être mobile par rapport au fuselage (12) de telle sorte que le centre de levage peut être déplacé par rapport au centre de gravité, ce qui peut faciliter une transition entre un effet de sol et un vol normal, et pour réduire les exigences structurelles du fuselage (12).
