    본 발명은 급발진 사고 방지장치에 관한 것으로서, 차량의 연료공급라인과 시동장치 사이에서 전기적으로 연결되어 설치되는 급발진 사고 방지장치에 있어서, 상기 차량의 설정된 엔진 회전수 미만에서는 연료공급라인과 시동장치 사이에 설치된 타이머 스위치의 미동작으로 전류가 공급되지 않아 작동하지 않는 전자석에 의해 급발진 사고 방지장치가 작동하지 않도록 하고, 상기 차량의 설정된 엔진 회전수에서는 타이머 스위치의 동작으로 전류가 공급되어 작동하는 전자석의 반발력으로 상기 전자석과 반대 극성의 영구자석을 작동시켜 급발진 사고 방지장치가 작동하도록 연료공급라인의 연료공급을 차단하도록 하되, 상기 연료공급라인의 연료공급 차단 후 일정시간이 지나면 타이머 스위치의 동작에 의해 전류가 공급되지 않아 상기 전자석이 작동하지 않도록 한 것으로, 불시에 급가속을 일으키는 차량의 엔진 회전수에 도달하기만 하면 간단하게 연료의 공급을 차단하여 급발진 사고를 거의 완벽하게 방지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
