A system may include an electrical port configured to receive electrical energy from a conductive element exterior to a vehicle, the conductive element disposed along a route for the vehicle. The system may include an energy conversion device configured to receive a first fuel and a second fuel. The system may include a controller configured to: determine, based on an energy demand for the vehicle and the receipt of the electrical energy, a first consumption rate of the first fuel and a second consumption rate of the second fuel.
