An arrangement for moving a cover for a vehicle roof has a guide rail which extends in a longitudinal direction, and a deployment lever which is fixedly coupled to the guide rail so that the deployment lever can be pivoted relative to the guide rai in order to move the cove, a deployment carriage which is guided in the guide rail so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction. The deployment lever and the deployment carriage are coupled together by a joint mechanism in order to transfer a displacement of the deployment carriage into a pivoting of the deployment lever. The joint mechanism has at least four rotary joints.
