A computer-implemented method generates and updates a dashboard display on an augmented reality display within a vehicle. The method includes identifying a driver of a vehicle, where the vehicle is at least partially automated. The method further includes determining a set of conditions for the vehicle. The method also includes determining a driving mode for the vehicle, where the driving mode represents a level of automation for the vehicle. The method includes analyzing, by a learning model, the set of conditions and the driving mode. The method further includes determining, in response to the analyzing, a subset of components to add to a display, where each component is selected from a set of available components associated with the vehicle. The method also includes rendering the subset of components on the display on a user interface.
