A body for an electrically operable motor vehicle, includes a vehicle floor, which has a floor element arranged above an energy storage device and, in the region of the end of the floor element, at least one fastening point of the body for a support element is provided. In the event of an accident-induced load introduction of a corresponding force in the region of the fastening point, in order to prevent accompanying damage to the energy storage device, the floor element has a deformation region that can be intentionally deformed away from the energy storage device when the accident-induced force is introduced at the fastening point of the body for the support element.
