This longitudinal control augmentation surface is positioned in the connecting structure of the engine with the fuselage. A longitudinal control augmentation system for aircraft with engines arranged in a rear portion of the fuselage close to a vertical tail, this system comprising means of controlling the longitudinal control augmentation surfaces of the aircraft to distribute a longitudinal offset of the aircraft between these surfaces by means of functions, and an aircraft comprising the longitudinal control augmentation surface and the longitudinal control augmentation system.
