A freight distribution center intralogistics system configured to increase the productivity of freight unit movements at and through the distribution center. The system generates a layout for stacking of a plurality of freight units, wherein each freight unit is assigned a queue position defining their position in a container stack. The queue position is a function of pickup or drop-off times of the associated freight, wherein those times are determined through the algorithmic evaluation of at least driver-input and facility-input queue parameters. The layout may also provide indicators of the individual queue parameters that are input and computed by the system.
