Methods, systems and computer program products for delivering a package by a drone using a customized delivery path are provided. Aspects include receiving a package for delivery to a delivery recipient and obtaining delivery preferences for the delivery recipient. Aspects also include determining a delivery location for the package based on the delivery preferences and one or more characteristics of the package and obtaining a flight plan for the drone to deliver the package to the delivery location, wherein the flight plan includes a delivery path across a private property.
