The invention relates to an operator control apparatus for outputting haptic feedback comprising an operator control surface, an actuator, which is at least indirectly coupled to the operator control surface, for generating the haptic feedback on the operator control surface and a control unit which is designed to drive the actuator by means of a haptic component of a control signal for generating the haptic feedback. In this case, the control unit is designed to drive the actuator by means of an acoustic component of the control signal for generating acoustic feedback.
