To provide deicing fluid for a motor vehicle that has physical properties, in particular viscosity properties, that are compatible with a window-wiping function of the motor vehicle; a deicing process using the deicing fluid; and a process for conveying the deicing fluid.SOLUTION: Motor vehicle deicing fluid 10 contains: at least one alkali metal salt whose total weight percentage in the fluid 10 is between 0.0001% and 50%; and at least water whose weight percentage in the fluid 10 is between 0.0001% and 99.9999%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
