In addition, the vehicle (1) comprises means for the contact-based detection of obstacles, arranged on a portion of the vehicle (1) intended to face the load to be to be approached during an approach manoeuvre, and braking means intended to stop the vehicle (1) as soon as an obstacle is struck by the contact-based obstacle detection means.
