본 발명은, 제1 편광판; 상기 제1 편광판의 일면 상에 형성되는, 제1 전극층; 상기 제1 편광판과 대향하는, 제2 편광판; 상기 제2 편광판의 일면 상에 형성되며, 상기 제1 전극층과 대향하는, 제2 전극층; 및 상기 제1 전극층 및 제2 전극층 사이에 구비되는 액정층을 포함하며, 상기 제1 전극층 및 제2 전극층 중 적어도 하나의 전극층은, 상기 제1 편광판 및 제2 편광판 중 어느 하나의 편광판과 직접 접촉하여 형성되며, 상기 제1 전극층은, 제1 방향으로 배치되는 복수의 제1 단위 전극을 포함하며, 상기 제2 전극층은, 제2 방향으로 배치되는 복수의 제2 단위 전극을 포함하는, 투과율 가변 광학 적층체 및 이를 포함하는 스마트 윈도우에 관한 것이다.

    The present invention relates to a transmittance-variable optical laminate and a smart window including same, the transmittance-variable optical laminate including: a first polarizing plate; a first electrode layer formed on a surface of the first polarizing plate; a second polarizing plate opposite to the first polarizing plate; a second electrode layer formed on a surface of the second polarizing plate and opposite to the first electrode layer; and a liquid crystal layer provided between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer, wherein at least one electrode layer of the first and second electrode layers is in direct contact with any one polarizing plate of the first and second polarizing plates, the first electrode layer includes a plurality of first unit electrodes arranged in a first direction, and the second electrode layer includes a plurality of second unit electrodes arranged in a second direction.
