An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for estimating the capacity of a battery used in a service in which a first use pattern is observed at a high frequency. The method for estimating the capacity of a battery comprises the steps of: storing a first state value of a test battery, which appears when the first use pattern is applied to the same type of test battery as the battery, and a first model in which the first use pattern is an input factor and the capacity of the test battery is an output factor; extracting a second use pattern in a time section having a high similarity to the first use pattern among use data of the battery, and extracting a second state value of the battery in the time section; and calculating the first capacity of the battery by substituting the second use pattern and the second state value into the first model.

    본 실시예는, 제1사용패턴이 고빈도로 관측되는 서비스에 사용되는 배터리의 용량을 추정하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 배터리와 동종의 시험배터리에 상기 제1사용패턴을 적용시켰을 때 나타나는 상기 시험배터리의 제1상태값 및 상기 제1사용패턴을 입력인자로 하고 상기 시험배터리의 용량을 출력인자로 하는 제1모델을 저장하는 단계; 상기 배터리의 사용데이터 중 상기 제1사용패턴과의 유사도가 높은 시구간에서 제2사용패턴을 추출하고, 상기 시구간에서의 상기 배터리의 제2상태값을 추출하는 단계; 및 상기 제2사용패턴과 상기 제2상태값을 상기 제1모델에 대입시켜 상기 배터리의 제1용량을 산출하는 단계를 포함하는 배터리의 용량 추정 방법을 제공한다.
