An alignment system for approaching a vehicle (10) to a spatially spaced target object (40) comprises: an object detection means (20) attached to the vehicle (10); and a coupling element (30) removably maintaining the target object (40) at an end position, wherein the object detection means (20) is aligned in a direction of the target object (40), and enables data from the object detection means (20) to be used to generate an image that allows the target object (40) to be viewed together with a guide marker (50) during an approach of the vehicle (10). An objective of the present invention is to develop a technically simpler solution for displaying the guide marker (50). According to the invention, a fundamental objective is solved wherein the guide marker (50) is applied to at least one component (11) of the vehicle (10) arranged in an entry area (31) of the coupling element (30).
