The present invention relates to a ship propulsion device using a seawater passage, which comprises: one or more seawater passages installed symmetrically in even numbers below a waterline of a ship, penetrating the bow and the stern of the ship; a seawater intake and seawater exhaust forming an inlet and an outlet of the seawater passage; a screw conveyor device installed inside the seawater passage; and a drive device for rotating the screw conveyor device. The seawater intake of the bow-side seawater passage is configured to have the same cross-sectional area as the hull body, thereby reducing the water resistance caused by increased seawater intake. The screw conveyor device includes a rotating shaft rotated by the drive device and a plurality of sharp blade-like vanes mounted on the rotating shaft, wherein the vanes are not continuously installed along the entire rotating shaft, but a plurality of vane assemblies are partially installed at regular intervals. Therefore, the ship propulsion device can move the ship forward and backward quickly and stably.

    본 발명은 해수통로를 이용한 선박 추진장치에 관한 것으로, 선박의 흘수선 아래의 선수와 선미를 관통하는 한 개 또는 복수 개의 짝수로 대칭되게 설치되는 해수통로, 상기 해수통로의 입구와 출구를 형성하는 해수흡입구와 해수배출구, 상기 해수통로의 내부에 설치되는 스크류 이송장치, 상기 스크류 이송장치를 회전시키는 구동장치를 포함하여 구성되는 해수통로를 이용한 선박 추진장치에 있어서, 상기 선수 측 해수통로의 해수흡입구는 선체의 몸통의 단면적과 같은 크기로 구성되어 해수의 흡입량의 증대에 따른 물의 저항을 감소시키고, 스크류 이송장치는 구동장치에 의해 회전되는 회전축과 상기 회전축에 축착된 다수개의 날카로운 칼날 형태의 익편을 포함하되 상기 익편은 회전축의 전체에 연속 설치되지 않고, 다수개의 익편집합체가 일정한 간격을 두고 부분적으로 설치됨을 특징으로 한다.
