A display system configured to be embedded in a vehicle comprises a light source and an optical subsystem optically coupled to the light source. The optical subsystem comprises a reflector and at least one semi-reflective optical device. The optical subsystem is configured to move light of each virtual image by a different distance in the optical subsystem before the optical subsystem emits light in a path toward the eyes of a viewer so as to direct light rays to provide a plurality of virtual images that simultaneously appear to the viewer in each of a plurality of different optical paths.

    차량에 내장되도록 구성된 디스플레이 시스템은 광원과, 광원에 광학적으로 결합된 광학 서브시스템을 포함한다. 광학 서브시스템은 반사체와 적어도 하나의 반반사 광학 장치를 포함하고, 광학 서브시스템은 각각의 가상 이미지의 광이 뷰어의 눈을 향한 경로에서 광학 서브시스템을 출사하기 전에 광학 서브시스템 내에서 상이한 거리를 이동하게 함으로써 각각의 복수의 상이한 광학 경로에서 동시에 뷰어에게 나타나는 복수의 가상 이미지를 제공하기 위해 광선을 지향시키도록 구성된다.
