The present invention relates to a traffic light installed on a road to instruct a pedestrian crossing the road to stop or proceed and, more specifically, to a smart traffic light using wireless communication, which monitors a surrounding traffic situation, shares the surrounding traffic situation with a vehicle and a pedestrian using wireless communication to improve efficiency of traffic operation and management, and improves safety of a driver and a pedestrian.
본 발명은 도로에 설치하여 통행하는 차량이나 도로를 건너는 보행자에게 정지 또는 진행을 지시하는 신호등에 관한 것으로, 더 나아가 본 발명은 주변 교통 상황을 모니터링 하고, 무선 통신을 이용해 주변 교통 상황을 차량 및 보행자와 공유하여 교통 운영 및 관리의 효율성을 높이고, 운전자와 보행자의 안전성을 향상시킨 무선 통신을 이용한 스마트 신호등에 관한 것이다.
