The present invention provides a technology of properly discharging blow-by gas out of a cylinder block while avoiding enlargement of an engine. An exemplary engine comprises a cylinder block having a cylinder constituting a combustion chamber; a crankshaft disposed in the cylinder block; a flywheel mounted on one end of the crankshaft; and a flywheel housing disposed on one end surface of the cylinder block in the direction of the crankshaft and accommodating the flywheel. The flywheel housing has a blow-by gas passage through which blow-by gas passes.
