The present invention relates to a method for operating a fuel cell for a railway vehicle and, specifically, to a method for operating a fuel cell for a railway vehicle using position information, capable of preventing degradation of output due to battery discharge by using a fuel cell in an area with high efficiency in the range that the battery is not discharged. Moreover, the method for operating a fuel cell for a railway vehicle can reduce hydrogen consumption. So, the method for operating a fuel cell for a railway vehicle enables a railway vehicle to drive long distance and reduces hydrogen costs. The method for operating a fuel cell for a railway vehicle includes: a step (a) of transmitting the position information to a train control monitor system (TCMS) by receiving position data of the railway vehicle through GPS; a step (b) of receiving anterior gradient information and state of charge (SOC) information through the TCMS and receiving output information through a propulsion control device and an auxiliary power device; a step (c) of predicting output of the railway vehicle using the received gradient information, the SOC information, and the output information; a step (d) of instructing a fuel cell controller about required output using the predicted output information on the railway vehicle; and a step (e) of charging or discharging the battery and outputting the fuel cell.

    본 발명은 철도차량용 연료전지 구동방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 배터리가 방전되지 않은 범위에서 연료전지를 효율이 높은 영역에서 사용하게 함으로써 배터리 방전으로 인한 출력 저하를 방지하고 수소 소모량을 저감하여 장거리 주행이 가능하며 수소 비용을 저감 할 수 있도록 하는 위치정보를 이용한 철도차량용 연료전지 구동방법에 관한 것이다. 구성은 철도차량용 연료전지 구동방법으로서, (a) GPS를 통해 철도차량의 위치 데이터를 수신하여 열차제어감시장치(TCMS)에 위치 정보를 전송하는 단계; (b) 열차제어감시장치(TCMS)를 통해 전방 구배정보와 배터리 상태(SOC) 정보를 수신하고, 추진제어장치 및 보조전원장치를 통해 출력정보를 수신하는 단계; (c) 수신된 구배정보와 배터리 상태(SOC) 정보 및 출력정보를 통해 철도차량의 출력을 예측하는 단계; (d) 예측된 철도차량의 출력정보를 통해 연료전지 제어기에 요구 출력을 지령하는 단계; (e) 연료전지 출력 및 배터리 충전 또는 방전을 실행하는 단계; 를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
